Sardar Patel Covid care center to be open from today


Sardar Patel Covid care center will be operating from today at 10 am, the hospital is based in Radha Soami Satsang Beas,  New Delhi. Freshly, the Union Minister also addressed that the Delhi government had asked for the reopening of the facility. Moreover, It also said that a deliberation took place on Thursday evening by ITBP officials with all the stakeholders.

In an official statement, the ITBP said, all the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the admission of patients to the Oxygenated 500-bed facility at the SPCCC “will be strictly followed and all laid down protocols will also be cling”. Besides, oxygen will be provided through cylinders said a senior ITBP official.

The Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre was inaugurated on July 5, 2020, which is the world's largest Covid-19 care center. Also,  ITBP said, “All medical treatment, medicines, food, and other facilities will be provided free of cost including counselor for counseling”.

Taking necessary protocols, a patient needs to firstly report at the reception followed by the initial documentation and physical examination after that they would be admitted to the care center with their allotted bed and a kit will be given to them. The hospital will have 1000 oxygenated beds and will accommodate 1500 as per Union Minister affirmation including all the medical facilities such as ambulances, X-ray, pulse oximeter, etc including expert doctors and nurses.
