The bus was coming from the wrong direction…
On Tuesday, 11 July 2023, a painful accident took place as a School bus collided head-on with the SUV on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway near Rahul Vihar.
"Six of the eight people died and two are critically injured - they are admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The bus was coming from the wrong direction. The driver has been arrested, he is being questioned and stringent sections are being invoked in the FIR," said Dehat Shubham Patel, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ghaziabad.
"The impact of the collision was so strong that the dead bodies were taken out after cutting the doors of the car," officials said.
The injured were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment, they said.
