Schools in Delhi to Reopen From Class 6th

Schools back to life!

On Saturday (today), schools in Delhi have been reopened for the students of class 6 onwards.

The schools in the National Capital were shut due to incessant pollution. On Friday, the commission of Air quality management in the national capital and adjoining areas (CAQM) permitted the resumption of physical classes in schools from class 6 onwards.

According to the statement given by the Delhi government, "All the government, government-aided, unaided recognized, NDMC, MCDs, and Delhi Cantonment Board schools will reopen from December 18 for class 6 onwards”

The physical classes for school kids are mostly shut from the beginning of the Covid peak. Sometimes, the rise in Covid tally leads to the closure of schools, or else the air pollution level of the capital city warn and sometimes the cool weather conditions warning for the closure.

The capital city is also witnessing a drop-down in its Temperature level. The city is witnessing a foggy kind of weather. The National capital was seen with a blurry view early in the morning.

The CAQM on Friday reviewed the restrictions imposed on the reopening of schools, colleges, and educational institutions. The commission also directed the state government of the NCR to take the decision for resumption of physical classes, for students up to standard 5 from December 27, 2021, duly considering the Air quality index (AQI) and the winter vacation schedule.
