Schools in Mumbai for reopens from today

Classes for 1-7 reopened


On Wednesday, the schools in Mumbai reopened from today for the students of classes 1-7. 



For more than 20 months schools and other educational institutions have remained closed in the country. The deadly Covid-19 has created students education towards online mode. Also, education has become boring for the kids; none of the physical activity can be done just in fear of getting contaminated with the virus. The Covid-19 led New Variant Omicron is also concerning.



According to ANI, parents responded that "children are happy to go back to school once again. Physical schooling is better than online schooling. The school has taken all the precautions."



According to brihanmumbai municipal corporation (BMC), it has issued an order and instructed to follow appropriate Covid behavior and follow social distancing. RT -PCR test has been made Mandatory for teaching staff and non-teaching staff who are not fully vaccinated.



So far seven cases of the new variant Omicron have been reported in Mumbai.  According to the health department, one more case has been reported.



Many states and union territories have shut their school in view of the new variant Omicron and also with the arrival of the winter season and chilly weather, and incessant pollution levels in respective states the schools have been closed in view of children's safety.
