Schools in Mumbai reopen for classes 8-12 with appropriate Covid-19 behaviour and SOPs.


After witnessing a slowdown in Covid-19 cases, Mumbai is reopening its schools for classes 8 to 12. On Monday, the schools were reopened with appropriate Covid-19 behaviour and proper SOPs. 

As per ANI, Ajit Dubey, a teacher said that "we are very happy, finally schools are reopened, we will welcome the students with flowers and sweets." Adding more he also said that a classroom has 20 sitting arrangements and one student will sit on a single bench.

Schools across the country were closed and many states have reopened them. Some are now opening schools as Covid-19 lockdown has impacted the education of students to a great extent. Meanwhile, the schools of Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Delhi have been opened and are back to normal schedules.
