Schools in Noida, Ghaziabad to open for classes 6 -8 from August 23, for 1-5 from Sep 1

Meanwhile, several states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra have resumed their offline mode of education after witnessing a slow down in Covid-19 cases.


Covid-19 situation across the country led to the closure of schools and educational institutions due to which education has been impacted badly. Students are trying to stay in touch with their studies via online mode of education. Meanwhile, several states and educational institutions have decided to reopen schools for offline mode. On Wednesday,  the Uttar Pradesh Government had decided to reopen schools for classes 6 -8 from August 23 and for classes 1 to 5 from September 1.

According to the statement by PTI, it said, "The order has been issued to reopen schools for classes 6 to 8 from August  23 and for classes 1 to 5 from September 1."

This decision came into the limelight after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had earlier directed officials to consider the resumption of offline teaching activity for classes 6 to 8 from August 23  after Rakshabandhan.
