Covid-19 cases were rising gradually during the second wave of Covid-19. Meanwhile, the fear of the third wave of Covid-19 is at its head and schools as well as colleges of various states have decided to reopen after witnessing a downfall in Covid-19 cases. On Wednesday (4th August ) the Bihar Government decided to reopen schools and other educational institutions from Tomorrow (6th August).

As per IANS report, the crisis management committee, which is chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said under unlock 5 and allowed schools to operate with 50 per cent attendance for class 9 from august 6. The authorities also said that they will assess the Covid-19 situation again and might allow schools to physically commence classes for 1 to 8 standards after August 15.

Meanwhile, the Government has also allowed coaching institutes to be open for students of class 10. Besides, cinema halls, theatres and malls are also allowed to operate from August 6 with 50 per cent capacity. Whereas Covid-19 cases in the state have been going down as per the Health Department, Corona cases have been reduced drastically. The PMCH is having no Covid-19 infection. Whereas IGIMS, NMCH and Patna AIIMS have collectively around 16 patients.
