Selsura Road Accident: PM Modi Condolences For The Loss

Seven people lost their lives


On Tuesday morning, a massive road accident took place in Maharashtra in which the son of a local lawmaker was killed.


According to the information, seven people including some medical students and the son of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Vijay Rahangdale were killed.

 

Information mentions the accident took place in the Wardha district of Maharashtra. They were traveling via car and fell off a bridge.  


According to an official statement, The incident took place around 1:30 am near selsura Village.


According to the statement given by Police, it said, "the prime facie it appears that the driver of the car lost its control of the vehicle which fell off the bridge. Further, it said, the students were traveling on their way to Wardha to Deoli when their vehicle fell.


According to the statement given by Prime minister Narendra Modi, pained by the loss of lives due to an accident near selsura in Maharashtra. In this hour of sadness, my thoughts are with those who have lost their loved ones.

 

I pray that those injured are able to recover soon " tweeted via Prime Minister's office (PMO). Further, he also said, "PM @Narendramodi Announced that Rs 2 Lakh each from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of those who have lost their lives in the accident near selsura. Those injured would be given Rs 50,000." Said PM Modi.


According to ANI, it said the deceased have been identified as students of Sawangi Medical College in Wardha.

 

While Neeraj Chauhan, Vivek Kundan, Pratyush Singh, and Shubham Jaiswal were final year MBBS students, Aviskar Rahangdale and Pawan were first-year MBBS students and Nitish was a medical intern, Reported ANI.
