Senior TRS Leader Nayani Narasimha Reddy Died Due To Lung Damage

TRS Leader Nayani Narasimha Reddy died at the age of 76


On Thursday morning a saddened incident took place, the former Home Minister of Telangana and the senior Telangana Rashtriya Samithi (TRS) leader Shri. Nayani Narasimha Reddy died at the age of 76.

The former Home Minister had served the ministry since the formation of the Telangana state in 2014, Reddy was deeply undergoing his treatment at a private super-speciality the hospital here for post-COVID complications with lung damage and the end came at 12.25 AM as informed by the hospital.

He also took charge of portfolios including Prisons, Fire Services, Sainik Welfare, Labour and Employment. Reddy was the Member of Legislative Council (MLC) of Telangana. A senior leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), Reddy fought alongside K. Chandrashekar Rao fought for the statehood of Telangana. He mainly took an active role in 1969 Telangana Agitation and started his political career from Janata Party.

The 76 years old Nayani Narasimha Reddy, a senior trade union leader in Hyderabad, he had played an important role in the separate Telangana agitation.

The former minister always is known in the political industry. Reddy was also elected to the Legislative Assembly in undivided Andhra Pradesh for three terms in 1978, 1985 and in 2004.

The senior Telangana Rashtriya Samithi (TRS) leader had served as a minister in the government of late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy when Telangana Rashtriya Samithi then an ally of Congress joined the government in 2004.

CM  K. Chandrashekar Rao met the leader on Wednesday at the hospital privately. Chief Minister also remembered the amount of hard work, care and love he showed up.
