Shirdi Temple to issue Digital Passes

In Shri Saibaba Sansthan which is based in Maharashtra, the temple Trustees stated that the decision on online passes will be implemented from January 14 because of covid pandemic.


The management of the renowned Sai Baba temple known as Shirdi in district of Maharashtra, on Monday asked people to collect passes online for ''darshan'' and ''aarti'' to avoid a queue of crowd especially during the covid outbreak and mutant strain, an official said.

A statement from the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust stated that the decision on online passes will be implemented from this month by 14, the digital passes can be collect from the temple's official website and it would help control the crowds that come to the temple, this initiative move taken in respective of covid especially rush on Thursday, weekends, auspicious days and public holidays make it difficult to handle the crowd of devotees, an official said.

The temple trust stated that "The free and paid pass distribution centre in the temple premises will be closed on these days when there is heavy rush," in perspective of devotees during the pandemic.
