Governor will take oath on 18 February
BJP MP Shiv Pratap Shukla will take oath as a governor of Himachal Pradesh on 18 February 2023 at the Raj Bhawan in the state capital, Shimla.
As per the information received, the MP express his gratitude to the president Draupadi Murmu and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India, along with Home minister Amit Shah for being appointed as the new governor of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday.
He will be the 29th governor of the hill station. Shukla began his political career with Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad. He was a former finance minister and 4 time MLA, three time union minister and one time member of Rajya Sabha.
