Speeding Car Rams into Safdarjung Tomb’s Main Gate.

Safdarjung Tomb’s Main Gate smashed

On Monday morning an speeding Maruti car rammed into the main gate of Safdarjung Tomb in Delhi’s Tughlak road. The car vandalized the iron gate of the tomb and a notice board along with some other parts. 

A 32 year old man named Vijay Bahri was identified as the driver, was under the influence of alcohol and lost control over the wheels of his vehicles.During this incident no one was hurt and the driver was rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital at Connaught Place.

The Archeology Department is now evaluating the damages and an FIR has been filed under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Court(IPC) for damaging public property and a case has been registered against it.
