Stray dog killed two siblings...

In Delhi, stray dog attacked and killed two brothers in span of two days, Anand and Aditya aged 7 and 5. From the Vasant Kunj area on Friday the police was informed about missing child.

 

In search of boy in the jungle adjacent to jhuggi, or hutment, where the family lives a team was deployed to help his mother.

 

The boy's body found in a secluded spot with multiple injuries on his body which seemed to be caused by an animal, after searching for two hours. According to the locals Anand was possibly attacked by stray dogs in the jungle that also attacked goats and pigs, told the police. 

 

The crime scene was inspected by a forensics team and the body was sent to the Safdarjung Hospital for an autopsy. 

 

Around 8 am, on Sunday, Anand’s younger brother Aditya (5) went with his cousin Chandan to the same jungle area to urinate. “Chandan was at a distance from Aditya. After a while when Chandan came back to the place where he had left Aditya, he saw the boy surrounded by stray dogs. He was badly injured.

 

SI Mahender of PS Vasant Kunj South, who was also in the area in connection with Anand’s probe, heard the screams of the boys and found that the dogs had attacked Aditya. He rushed the child to the Indian Spinal Injury Centre in his car, but the boy died during treatment,” added the officer.

 

Police said the autopsies of both siblings were conducted and reports will be shared soon.
