Strong, Foul Smell Detected from Locked House Near Mumbai

Discovery of 3 Decomposed Bodies Follows

Near Mumbai, in Vasai, three decomposed bodies were discovered in a locked house after a bad smell was noticed. The bodies had no injuries, and the house smelled strongly of gas, according to the police.

The bodies have been recognized by their nicknames - Mo Ajam, Raju, and Chhotku - as fruit vendors from Anand Nagar in Vasai.

The residents alerted the police on Sunday afternoon after noticing the foul smell emanating from the second floor of the building.

The police forcibly entered the house and found the three dead bodies, along with a strong smell of gas inside.

Initial investigation indicates that someone may have left the gas on, resulting in a lack of oxygen and causing their death. However, the exact cause will only be determined after the post-mortem examination.
