Student died in Kota...

Fall from the 6th floor of the hostel...

On 3 February 2023, a 20-year-old student died after falling from the 6^th floor of the hostel building in Kota, Rajasthan. The deceased is identified as Ishanshu Bhattacharya and it is suspected that he falls from the aluminium railing as he lost his balance and hit to the railing that couldn’t control his weight and broke.

The incident is recorded live in the camera installed in the hostel and the police from Jawahar Nagar are investigating in this matter. After the incident, all the students expressed their anger over the hostel authority. The dead body is sent to MBS hospital for post-mortem

Ishanshu came to Kota in august last year for the preparation of the medical entrance exam NEET from Dhupguri in the Jalpaiguri district of west Bengal.

Following the incident, another case of suicide was also reported in Kota when a 17-year-old student hanged himself from a ceiling fan in his room. Police didn’t find any suicide notes. The student was a JEE (Joint Entrance Exam), JEE mains aspirant, and taking coaching in Kota. He had a year dropped last year after a failed attempt he enrolled himself in a coaching institute in July.

According to the information by the sub-inspector Awdesh Singh that he was not attending his classes for a month.
