The Supreme Court on Friday allowed the Kerala government to hold physical exams for class 11 after the state government assured the apex court that Covid-19 protocol will be followed at all schools.

A two-judge bench of Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice CT Ravikumar dismissed an appeal filed by advocate Rasoolshan A. The advocate had challenged the Kerala High Court order that refused to interfere with the decision of the state government to conduct physical exams.

The Supreme Court expressed satisfaction over the detailed affidavit submitted by the Kerala government and said it trusted authorities that they will take all required measures in wake of Covid-19.
