Succumbs to Heart Attack at Age 48…


Actor Daniel Balaji, famed for his Tamil cinema roles, passed away from a heart attack at a Chennai hospital last night. Rushed in after complaining of chest pain, his untimely demise has saddened many.

 

The unexpected passing of the 48-year-old actor has sent shockwaves through the Tamil film industry and his fan base. His body has been transported to his residence in Purasaiwakkam for cremation.

 

Daniel Balaji began his journey in the film industry as a unit production manager for Kamal Haasan's incomplete project 'Marudhunayagam'. Transitioning to television, he appeared in Radikaa Sarathkumar's 'Chithhi', where his character was christened Daniel, leading to his screen identity, Daniel Balaji. He notably portrayed impactful roles in films like 'Kakka Kakka' and 'Vettaiyadu Vilayadu'.

 

Daniel Balaji made his film debut in 2002 with the Tamil movie 'April Madhathil'. Alongside his contributions to Tamil cinema, he also appeared in numerous Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada films. His final appearance was in the film 'Ariyavan'.
