The prime accused in the teacher recruitment exam paper leak case was arrested by the special search operations group (SoG) and Rajasthan police in Bengaluru.
According to the police, the mastermind of the 2nd grade government recruitment exam paper leak was identified as Bhupendra Saran and was brought to Udaipur after the arrest from the Bengaluru based Kempegowda international airport on the night of 23 Feburary 2023.
Following the incident, the superintendent of police (SP) of Jodhpur, Dharmendra Singh Yadav, ordered the arrest and the police were successful after six days of staying in Bengaluru.
The accused has been kept in the Hathipol police station in Udaipur.
The police have started a search operation against the fake degrees from more than 4 dozen fake universities and the leak of exam papers in 2022 after which the general knowledge exam was cancelled and postponed to January 29.
