Teen Strangles and Stabs Victim 60 Times

On a Tuesday night in New Delhi, a teenager got stabbed multiple times by a younger boy. Disturbingly, security footage captured the attacker dancing beside the victim's body. The motive behind this shocking incident appears to be an attempt to steal money for buying biryani.

 

In northeast Delhi's Welcome area, a frenzied killing unfolded allegedly over Rs 350. The disturbing incident, captured on CCTV, shows a teen attacker stabbing the victim, standing over the body, and dancing. Shockingly, reports suggest that the assailant stabbed the victim more than 60 times.

 

The police state that the murder was driven by robbery. The accused initially strangled the victim, causing unconsciousness, and then proceeded to stab him multiple times.

 

The police mentioned that the two didn't seem to know each other. The 16-year-old, accused of the killing, allegedly tried to rob the young man. When the victim resisted, he was attacked.

 

CCTV footage shows the accused minor dragging a body into a narrow alley. He repeatedly stabs the victim in the neck, ensuring their demise. Shockingly, he proceeds to kick the head several times and then stands over the lifeless body, engaging in a macabre dance, all captured on camera.

 

Deputy Commissioner of Police (northeast) Joy Tirkey reported that on Tuesday around 11:15 pm, a PCR call informed them of an incident in Janta Mazdoor colony in the Welcome area. According to the call, a minor stabbed a youth, approximately 18 years old, to death in an attempt to rob him.

 

Despite being rushed to the hospital, the victim was declared dead, as mentioned by Deputy Commissioner of Police Joy Tirkey.

 

The police successfully tracked down and arrested the accused. He allegedly stole Rs 350 from the unidentified victim. The investigation involves scanning CCTV footage, and a forensic team has visited the crime scene.

 

Police sources reveal that the minor, currently facing murder charges, was previously involved in another murder case in 2022. The earlier crime similarly had robbery as its motive.

 

As per the police, the accused is said to be part of a gang comprising three to four minors involved in a series of violent crimes. During questioning, the accused asserted that he was under the influence of intoxicants during the recent murder.
