A 40-year-old man, allegedly killed by a teenage boy, was found near the Red Fort. The man has tried to have sex with the teenage boy, the Delhi police said. Identified as Shambhu, police were alerted by locals on discovering the body, and an investigation was started.
The team was rushed to the spot, and found blood oozing from the mouth and head of the victim, the police said, the victim also had an injury to his head.
According to the police, the 16-year-old teen, a resident of Bihar, left home two years ago; and wanted to go to Mumbai to work in the film industry.
He came in touch with Shambhu at the old Delhi railway station and started living with him. But for the last two months, Shambhu had been trying to have sex with the boy, as he confess.
When Shambhu made his move again on April 14, triggered a fight in which he was allegedly killed by the boy, the accused told the police.
The police arrested him and produced him before a juvenile justice board and lodged him in an observation home. They could not find the teen’s family in Delhi.
The teen used to work as a laborer at a market in Delhi's Kashmiri Gate, he studied till class 2 at a school in his village.
