The Indian Actress Ila Arun reveals why she said yes to Haddi

She will be seen as a transgender for the first time in the movie

Ila Arun is an industry veteran who has been working for more than four decades. She has acted in many interesting movies like Ardh Satya, Lamhe, Jodhaa Akbar and Manto and many more. 

Apart from all these, she is also a popular singer. She is currently preparing up for the release of the crime drama movie Haddi, co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Anurag Kashyap.

The Movie Haddi features many transgender actors. She said the entire shooting experience with them was nice. She said that on the first day, she was conscious since she didn't know how to behave in front of them. 

 Haddi movie is directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma and produced by Zee Studios and Anandita Studios. The film’s official trailer was launched and it was received well. Nawaz's look as a transgender person was much praised.

The movie Haddi will premiere on September 7 on Zee5, on the same day as Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan.

 She also added that ‘They made me so comfortable and all my scenes were with them’. I had to be comfortable because they are part of my gang or my family in the movie.
