The Indian Actress Krithi Shetty on Uppena winning National Film Award

She opened up about her debut Telugu film Uppena winning the National Film Award…

* Uppena, the 2021-released romantic drama won the National Film Award for top Telugu Film. Krithi Shetty, the most popular Telugu actress made her debut in the film industry with the blockbuster romantic drama Uppena, in 2021. 

* The actress be seen in the role of Sangeetha aka Bebamma in the film, which featured Vaisshnav Tej as the major man and renowned Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist. 

* The directorial, Buchi Babu Sana which earned his immense love from both the, fans and critics, is now making headlines again after winning the 69th National Film Award for great Telugu movie.

* The plan, which marked the directorial debut of talented filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana, is set in 2002 and revolves around the different love story of Aasirvadham aka Aasi, a Dalit Christian man, who falls in love with Sangeetha aka Bebamma, the daughter of an influential Zamindar.

* Uppena features a stellar star cast including Sai Chand, Mamilla Shailaja Priya, Gayatri Jayaraman, and others in the different other characters.  Devi Sri Prasad composed songs and the original score for the film, which is  produced by director Sukumar's home banner Sukumar Writings, and Mythri film Makers.
