Three people busted for running a sex racket in Delhi

Delhi police found a girl in terrible state on Moradabad Road who claimed to have come in contact with a couple who forced her into flesh trade


On Wednesday night, Delhi police spotted a girl in a terrible state on the Moradabad Road. The girl reportedly belongs to Delhi and claimed to have come in contact with a couple who assured her a Rs 12,000 per month job. But later forced her into flesh trade.

 

Acting quickly on the girl’s complaint raids were conducted in an area under Majhola police station and three people were arrested from a house. The girl was handed over to a child line team. Mobile phones, Aadhar cards and a four-wheeler was recovered from the raid. A case was registered under IPC sections 363 (punishment for kidnapping), 366-A (procuration of minor girl), 372 (selling minor for purposes of prostitution) and 373 (buying minor for purposes of prostitution).

 

On Thursday, SP Moradabad Amit Kumar Anand said, “Based on the information provided by the girl, teams were formed to nab the culprits. Three people- a couple and their driver were apprehended. A minor girl was rescued from the house.” He further added that “The girls were provided counselling. They were brought by the couple from Delhi who assured them of a job. However, the girls were sent to different hotels to serve clients.” The investigation is still underway.

 

Just three days ago, the Delhi police busted a sextortion gang in Dabri, in Southwest part of the national capital. Five people were arrested for allegedly running a sextortion racket and looting crores of rupees from innocent people. Reportedly, the members of the gang used to make contacts with the targets through the Tinder app. They would create morphed sexual videos of the victims and threatened to release them on social media.
