Ahead of the counting of votes for the poll-bound state Uttar Pradesh. The Samajwadi Party leader, Akhilesh Yadav, says, 'Time has come for a decision.


According to the tweet, Akhilesh Yadav extended his thanks to the voters, party workers, and Samajwadi Party leaders for “being alert and consciously active day and night at the counting centers”. He tweeted (in Hindi),” The courage is yet to be tested, the time has come now for 'decisions'.”


Akhilesh Yadav added, “Heartfelt thanks to each and every worker, supporter, leader, office bearer, and well-wisher of SP-gathbandhan for being alert and consciously active day and night at the counting centers! 'Sepoys of democracy' return only with a certificate of victory!”


Ahead of the counting of votes, Akhilesh Yadav also came up with his statement saying the Electronic voting machines (EVM) were stolen from the voting center in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi in the seventh phase of polling. The seven-phase polling fall on March 7.


Meanwhile, Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra has dismissed allegations of tampering with the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) and said that no EVM on which votes are cast can be taken out from the strong room. He added that it was the Varanasi ADM’s mistake that she did not inform political parties about the movement of EVMs beforehand.


The final decision of the parties will be out today. Many predictions are being done ahead of the counting day. Also, the counting has begun today at 8 am.
