Top Delhi School Gets Bomb Threat

Threat via an email...


New Delhi: On Wednesday, 26 April 2023, The Delhi Public School, Mathura Road received a bomb threat through an email.

The school was deeply checked after the threat, and Delhi Police are conducting a search of the entire premise.

Police have not found anything yet.

Along with the police force, bomb squad officials and ambulances are also present at the spot.

Today, Police say that they received a call from the school authorities at around 8.10 am. The school was evacuated immediately.

"There is no threat as no suspicious object was found on the school premises. The situation is under control.

Bomb Disposal Squad, Dog squad, and SWAT team sanitizing the school buildings," Rajesh Deo, DCP South East said.

Earlier in the month of April, 'The Indian School' in Delhi's Sadiq Nagar received a threat via an email claiming that there are bombs on the premise.

The bomb squad and other agencies inspected the premises for any explosive substances in the school. Later, the mail was declared a hoax.
