Toycathon-2021 : PM Modi to interact with participants on Thursday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be interacting with the participants of Toycathon-2021 on Thursday through a video conferencing at 11 am. The Ministry of Education has jointly launched Toycathon 2021 with WCD Ministry, MSME Ministry, DPIIT, Textile Ministry, I&B Ministry, and AICTE on the 5th of January this year with the endow of toys and games ideas.

For Toycathon 2021 1.2 lakh participants from across India registered and submitted more than 17000 ideas. Moreover, 1567 ideas have been shortlisted for the three days online Toycathon Grand Finale, which will be held from 22 to 24 june as per PMO.

With the Covid-19 restrictions, this year the finals will be having the team digitally toy ideas with also non-digital toy concepts will be organized for a separate physical event. Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal, Union Minister of Education will be a part of this occasion. The domestic market of the country as the global toy market provides a huge opportunity to our manufacturing sector. Toycathon-2021 aims all the Toy Industry in India to produce in boosting them to share a wider toy in the market.
