Tricolor lights Up In Srinagar symbolises Independence

Jammu and Kashmir, Illuminated Tricolour on the Clock Tower ('Ghanta Ghar') at Lal Chowk Srinagar representing '00the country’s Independence on Saturday.

Srinagar Mayor Junaid Mattu wrote on social media "We have illuminated the Clock Tower ('Ghanta Ghar') at Lal Chowk in colours of the Tricolour ahead of Independence Day. New clocks fitted,". 

He also congratulated the Srinagar Municipal Corporation for a great way of greeting the country. On August 5, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha took initiative and inaugurated a sports week to celebrate Independence Day in Srinagar.
