Trump’s YouTube Channel Suspended

YouTube suspends Donald Trump’s channel temporarily.

On Tuesday, YouTube, a Google owned company suspended President Donald Trump’s channel temporarily and pulled down a video for violating the company’s policy against encouraging violence. YouTube issued a statement where it mentioned that “In light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence we removed new content uploaded to Donald J. Trump’s channel for violating our policies. The channel is now temporarily prevented from uploading new content for a minimum of 7 days.”

Following a violent invasion at the US Capitol by a mob of President Trump’s supporters which had disrupted the certification of President-elect Joe Biden’s election victory temporarily, Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts last week were suspended by Facebook.Inc. The micro blogging site Twitter which happens to also be Trump’s favorite platform deprived him from using it as they took a step ahead of all and deleted his twitter account. Snapchat and Twitch have also suspended its services for Trump.
