Two cars collide at Sultanpur...

3 died and several were injured...

On 5 February 2023, two cars had a collision in the Sultanpur district of Uttar Pradesh due to which 3 people died and several got injured.

The incident occurred at Para Basu village near Akhand Nagar Police station in the Sultanpur area where two Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) collided with each other and a motorcycle was also involved in the incident. Three people died on the spot along with seven others were injured.

According to the police, the injured were sent to the nearby district hospital in Ambedkar District and the bodies of the deceased were sent for the post-mortem.

Following the information, the district magistrate and the superintendent of the police reached the spot and immediately asked to begin the legal proceedings.

As per the information the district magistrate of Sultanpur Ravish Gupta shared that the revenue department and the SDM have been directed for helping the relatives of the deceased and instructed to provide better treatment to the injured.
