Two Dead, 10 Injured in Gurugram Sleeper Bus Fire

Delhi: Two lives lost and multiple injuries reported as a sleeper bus caught fire on the Delhi-Gurugram expressway.

The unfortunate incident unfolded as the bus crossed the Sector 31 flyover. Prompt response from the fire brigade, Gurugram Police Commissioner, and administrative officials ensued at the scene.

Despite the swift response, the fire brigade arrived to find the bus completely charred, underscoring the intensity of the incident.

More than 40 passengers were on board the bus, registered with an Andhra Pradesh number and destined for Hamirpur. The incident resulted in a significant traffic jam on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway, later resolved by the efforts of the traffic police.

All the injured individuals have been swiftly transferred to a nearby hospital for necessary medical attention.
