Two Dead, Several Trapped After Roof Collapses In Gurgaon

Action To Be taken Against Builder, says MLA


An Unfortunate shocking incident occurred in Gurugram where the roof of a building collapsed. The incident took place at Chintels Paradiso Complex in Gurugram's sector 109. 


As per the information, around two people have lost their lives and several have been trapped in this deadly incident. 


According to the reports given by PTI, it said that the living room floor of the sixth floor of the apartment on the 18th floor of Chintels Paradiso housing complex, first came down triggering the collapse of roofs and floors directly under it.

 

Also, a team of the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) was sent to rescue the people.


According to the tweet given by Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal khattar, said, "Administrative officials along with SDRF and NDRF teams are busy in the rescue and relief work other after the unfortunate collapse of the apartment roof at the Paradiso housing Complex in gurugram.

 

I am personally monitoring the situation and I pray for everyone's safety,"tweeted that CM.


According to the statement given by MLA to news Agency ANI, he said that the builder has to be held accountable for action to be taken against the builder of a construction material quality. Issue in material quality to be probed.

 

We are focusing on rescue completion to save lives.


According to the statement given by deputy commissioner of Gurgaon, Nishant Yadav said," prima facie, construction work on the sixth floor could have led to the collapse of only dining areas (in flats) from 6-1 floors.

 

Other rooms of the same floor remained intact. An enquiry will be ordered an action will be taken in the cases of lapses.
