Two Girls Rescued by Noida Police

Both were Kidnapped from Gujarat…


Two minor kidnapped girls, aged 15 and 17, on November 30, from from Noida have been rescued by the Gautam Buddh Nagar police.

They had a now rescued and returned to their parents and the kidnapper is in the police custody. According to the police, the accused’s motive was reportedly to “roam about and also find work for the children.”

The girl’s parents stated in the First Information Report (FIR) that, the accused is the mother of one of their school friends. Two other children had also gone with the accused after tuition classes held in the evening and their other friends were scolded by her and sent away.

Investigation was started by three members of the police team to solve the matter.

 On CCTV footage near the place where the third girl had seen them, the accused was seen with the girls, nearby the railway station places, Old Delhi, New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Anand vihar, and Hazrat Nizamuddin were checked.

In these areas, they were not found, or in the other places such as bus stands. Mobile surveillance was began then by the police.

The accused’s phone was initially switched off, then the police eventually traced it to Mumbai. In Mumbai, the police spoke to a tempo vehicle driver, who said he had dropped them at the Bandra railway station.

Police again traced her phone, after which the police went to Godhra in Gujrat and contacted to the Railway Police Force (RPF) at the spot. Where a ticket collector at the railway station had informed them that the girls and woman were seated in the general coach of one of the trains after which they were rescued.

After the girls were found, their mother said, “We are very happy with the work of the police, and we thank them… especially the police at the chowki, who came with us till Mumbai to search and helped us a lot.”

Under sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) an FIR has been filed related to kidnapping at the Sector 63 police station.
