Family Members Poisoned The Lovers


In Chattisgarh's Durg district, a 21 years old man and his cousin sister were allegedly killed by two of their family member in a case of honor killing.
The two victims identified as Shrihari and his cousin Aishwarya age 20 they both were belonged to Krishna Nagar in Durg district.
According to a news agency PTI- PressTrust of India report, Police said, they were allegedly poisoned to death and their bodies burnt by their family members on Saturday October 10, 2020.
The two accused has been arrested for this crime by police. The two accused identified as deceased man's uncle Ramu and the deceased woman's brother Charan, said by City Superintendent of Police (CSP) of Bhilai Ajit Yadav.  
Ajit Yadav said, "Last month, Shrihari and Aishwarya had eloped from their houses, located next to each other in Krishna Nagar, following which the family had lodged their missing complaint."
Yadav also said after receiving this complain Durg police later traced their location in Chennai and sent a team there to find them. They were brought back to Drug on October 7, 2020, and police handed them over to their family after completing all the legal formalities.
"On Saturday night, police patrolling team noticed suspicious activities in their houses and went inside for an interrogation, during which the two accused admitted to having poisoned the victims to death." Ajit Yadav said.
During the interrogation, police got to know that the two accused burnt the bodies on the bank of Shivnath river near Jevra Sirsa village, around 10 km away from Supela.
The accused also told that Shrihari and Aishwarya was in a relationship and wished to get married to each other soon, but the family members were against it, that's why they killed them.
Police have recovered some ashes of burnt bodies of the Victims as evidence.
Police has registered a case against the accused and further investigation is underway to find more evidences.
