Ukraine Missiles at Belgorod...

Ukraine accused of launching missiles by Moscow!

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko recently said that Ukraine has provoked his country. He allegedly accused Ukraine of firing missiles at many military targets inside of Belarus. Lukashenko also claimed that the Belarusian army was successful in shooting down the missiles fired by Ukraine. In an interview with state news agency Belta he even said that the Ukrainian army had tried to strike military targets 3 days ago as well.

Last week Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky had also accused Belarus of firing missiles that hit a border region in the Ukrainian territory.  There have also been speculations that Minsk might get involved in the Kyiv and Moscow conflict. However, Lukashenko has rejected any speculations regarding that. He said “As I said more than a year ago, we do not intend to fight in Ukraine” reported by AFP as the Belarusian president was addressing.

Belarus is a Russian ally and has been supporting Russia for a long time. Lukashenko even supported the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It is believed that the Russian troops crossed the Belarusian border to enter Ukraine in the first place. Russia first entered in Kyiv to control the territory, however, they failed to do so.

Russia has been long supporting Belarus with its economic and military needs, Belarus is dependent on Russia’s help in those departments. Just last week President Vladimir Putin even addressed in Moscow that Russia will deliver Iskander-M missiles to Belarus. These missiles can hold nuclear weapons and when used can cause major destruction.

The Ukrainian army has rejected all the claims made by Lukashenko. The Ukrainian army retreats by saying that heavy attacks have been ongoing on their side.
