Another encounter of the accused in Umesh Pal murder
On 6 March 2023, the special operations team of Uttar Pradesh police shot Vijay Chawdhary alias Usman in the Kaundhariya area in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh.
The accused is one of the main shooters of Umesh pal and Sandeep Nishad on 24 February and two policemen died after sustained injury during the protection of Umesh pal who is a key witness in 2005 murder case of Bhaujan Samaj Party MLA Raju pal.
As per the information the incident captured in a CCTV Camera that raised question on the security on the state's law and order.
In response to the questions the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath posted on his Twitter account that they had crushed them all and the accused who first fired the bullet is shot dead in an encounter.
The police officials further mentioned that the driver of the SUV used during the murder had been shot dead in previous encounter.
The police also put reward money of 50,000 and now they increased it to 2.5 lakhs for the five other shooters.
