Under pressure, Biden is working to end the Israeli-Gaza conflict

Pressure has increased on US President Joe Biden to stop the fighting between Israel and Palestine Hamas. Biden has also spoken to Netanyahu.

US President Joe Biden is under a lot of pressure to stop the war between Israel and Palestine. The main reason for this is the attack on the media house in Gaza. Alajjira's office, including the Associated Press, was destroyed in the attack. A few more media houses were also working in this building.

In a televised message, Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu said that the media house in this building was used by the Hamas people as their intelligence office. According to him, this building was targeted precisely in the attack. Following this attack, the Biden administration has also sought a response from Israel. In both the attacks, 200 people have died and more than 1200 people have been injured.

In this regard, only the leaders of Biden's Democratic Party have started pressuring them over the ceasefire after an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council on Sunday. The Biden administration says it is in contact with the Israeli Prime Minister in this matter. Recently, the UN Secretary-General, including the Arab world, also called for an immediate halt to the attacks. The UN chief said that if it does not stop, it will have disastrous consequences. On the question of the ceasefire, a White House spokesman said that he thought there were some talks going on behind the scenes.

President Biden has spoken to Prime Minister Netanyahu nearly three times since the beginning of the attacks on both sides. The White House said Biden supported Israel's action as a defense against the Palestinian attack. Biden states that Israel has every right to protect their citizens. In the recent talks also, there was a discussion between the two leaders about the action taken on Hamas and other terrorist groups.

A White House spokesman says the United States also wants the ongoing tension between the two countries to ease and ceasefire. The US has also spoken to the heads of Egypt and other countries about this. Spokeswoman Logan Bayroff of a Liberal pro-Israeli lobbying group, J Street, says he is deeply saddened that the Biden administration is not taking a swift decision, realizing its elegance.

Meanwhile, more than half of the caucus senators have issued a statement saying that both countries should take the initiative to stop the attacks immediately to save people's lives and belongings. It should also be noted that such action should not be done by anyone in future. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says it should be executed quickly. This is the first major attack on Israel by Hamas since 2014.
