United Nations Climate Panel Analysis, "Code Red for Mankind"

Scientists observed changes in the earth's climate in all regions and in the entire climate system.

The United Nations Intergovernmental panel on climate change, of which India is a member, published its sixth assessment report today. A detailed overview of the climate change was reported by scientists calling it, "Code Red for Mankind."

Scientists observed changes in the earth's climate in all regions and in the entire climate system. Startups like continual sea level rise are irreversible for hundreds or thousands of years.

However, drastic and rapid reductions in carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases can limit climate change if nations agree to do that. If they meet the immediate and drastic cuts later this year in Glasgow, UK, it could take 20-30 years for global temperatures to stabilize, although the air quality benefits would be felt quickly.
