UP CM distributes relief material in Siddharthnagar, meets flood victims

Over 2,500 people from four villages have been impacted due to flood.


Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday met the flood-affected people and distributed relief material in the Siddharthnagar district.

According to the statement, CM Yogi Adityanath said, "Over 2,500 people from four villages have been impacted due to flood. Orders have been issued to provide the relief material to the flood-affected people, and the work is going at a fast pace." Adding more he said, "Teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), state disaster Response Force (SDRF), PSUs have been present at the spot to help people and provide facilities including drinking water."

The Chief Minister On Friday conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas in Bahraich district and distributed relief materials to the affected families. 

As per the report, 619 villages across 18 districts of Uttar Pradesh have been impacted by floods. The 18 districts include -  Siddharthnagar, Gorakhpur, Sitapur, Ballia, Kushinagar, Azamgarh, Ayodhya, Baraich, Shahjahanpur, Nau and Gonda.
