UP CM Yogi Adityanath orders completion of Bundelkhand expressway

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath after reviewing the package-wise progress of the Bundelkhand expressway project ordered and gave directions to complete the main road of the expressway and make it open by December 31, 2022. 


According to the statement, the chief Minister yogi adityanath said, the land for establishing industrial corridors /clusters on both sides of Bundelkhand expressway should be identified and work should be started soon for their establishment. Along with the construction of the expressway.


Also, During the review meeting, the Chief minister saw a presentation regarding the progress of the construction of the Bundelkhand expressway. He also unveiled the "Road anthem"


According to the statement given by the chief executive officer of UPEIDA Awanish Awasthi during a review, the meeting said,this expressway will be the safest expressway in the country and it will be constructed in the shortest possible time.


As per the information, the district magistrates and other officers of districts including Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun, Hamipur, Mahoba, Banda, and Chitrakoot were present during the meeting.


Knowing about what is Bundelkhand expressway project it merges with the agra Lucknow expressway at kudrail village in Etawah district and traverses through Chitrakoot, Banda, Hamirpur, Jalaun, Auriya. This expressway will provide the fastest connectivity with Agra and the National capital Region (NCR) Delhi.
