PM Urges To Follow Appropriate Covid Protocol


The Uttar Pradesh assembly election begins today. The first phase of the election begins today from 7 am. 


According to the tweet, PM Modi wrote, "Today is the first phase of voting in Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections.

 

I request all the voters to participate enthusiastically in this holy festival of democracy by following the Covid-19 protocols. Remember - vote first, then refreshments!" PM urges to follow appropriate behavior for Covid-19 as Covid is not completely over yet.

 

Also, the country is reeling with cases of the deadly virus. PM Modi urges ahead of assembly elections.


According to the information, around 11 districts of the Uttar Pradesh State will be voting.

 

The timing is scheduled between 7 am and 6 pm and the assembly elections are about to happen in seven Phases, whereas the first phase begins, the Western Uttar Pradesh is all boosting up to vote.  


The information also mentioned that the first phase mostly covers the Jat-dominant belt of western UP.

 

Campaigning for the first phase of the UP Assembly Election 2022 ended on Tuesday (February 8) at 6 pm marking the start of a 48-hour-long silence period.

 

Polling will take place today in 11 districts: Shamli, Hapur, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, and Agra.


Ahead of assembly polls, many statements of party leaders and other members came to light to vote for the right party.

 

Around 2.27 crore people are eligible to vote in the first phase of the Uttar Pradesh elections and the Counting of votes will take place on March 10.

 

The police personnel has geared up with preparation all the pooling booth has been under strict vigilance.
