UP govt to hold roadshows in 12 countries before global investors summit!

Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Global Investor Summit in 2023, chief minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to send a group of ministers on foreign tours to showcase the state as an investment hub. As the brand ambassador of the state, the group of ministers will organize roadshows in different countries and introduce the immense potential of Uttar Pradesh.



The roadshows are a part of Adityanath’s action plan to attract investments worth more than Rs.10 lakh crore. A statement released by the officials said various prominent figures of the industrial world will be invited for investment after they have been informed about the investment-friendly environment of the state.



According to the statement given by the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said the proposed Global Investors’ Summit (GIS) in January 2023 would give flight to the aspirations of a new Uttar Pradesh and added that it should be made a global event.



These tours by ministers would be aimed at globally marketing UP as an investment hub ahead of the proposed Global Investors’ Summit (GIS) in January 2023.



“Between September and November, roadshows could be held in the UK, USA, Canada, UAE, Sweden, Singapore, The Netherlands, Israel, Japan, France, Germany, South Korea, Mauritius, Russia and Australia,” said the government.



In the 2018 Investor Summit, the Netherlands, Japan, Slovakia, Finland, Czech Republic, Mauritius, Thailand, Nepal, Belgium were the state’s country partners. Along with these countries, the government will be organising roadshows in countries like the UK, USA, Canada, UAE, Sweden, Singapore, Netherlands, Israel, France, Germany, South Korea, Mauritius, Russia and Australia. These visits is likely to take place in September-November.
