UP Polls To Take Place In Seven Phases!


One of the most awaited battles is yet to begin tomorrow. The Uttar Pradesh assembly elections are all set for voting.  The assembly polls will begin tomorrow and Uttar Pradesh's Noida will begin the voting for the assembly elections.



According to the statement given by Gautam Buddh Nagar District Magistrate Suhas L Yathiraj urged the voters to go out and vote, He said, "like our lives and the world Depend on it because they do." Adding more he asked the residents to come out and vote in large numbers, he said in the last assembly elections in 2017, the region had, 'very less voting'. 



Gautam Buddh Nagar has three assembly seats of Noida, Dadri, and Jewar which will go on s from tomorrow (February 10). The voting will be held between 7 am and 6 pm. The counting of votes will take place on March 10. The voting will be held using COVID-19 safety protocols and the guidelines as issued by the Election Commission from time to time. While voters are required to wear masks, maintain social distance and use sanitiser while voting, the election officials will also be given a COVID-19 kit to conduct the election smoothly. Thermal scanning of all persons will be carried out before allowing them to enter inside the EVM room. The election commission may reserve the last one hour of the polling for COVID positive voters.



In the 2017 elections, the BJP had bagged 53 seats out of 58 while Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party had got two seats each, and the one Rashtriya Lok Dal had won one seat.
