UP to commence 3rd phase of Mission Shakti Today

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address 1,50,000 girls about the government's Kanya sumangala Yojana.


On Saturday, Uttar Pradesh will begin the third phase of mission Shakti. Mission shakti aims to promote women's safety, respect and self-reliance. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel and Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be part of the event which is to be held at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow at 10:30 am.

According to ANI, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address 1,50,000 girls about the government's Kanya sumangala Yojana. A  foundation stone for the courtyard of Veerangana AvantiBai Battalion in Badaun will also be laid.

According to the statement, the Chief Minister said the empowerment and safety of women are among the priorities of the Government. The instructor told the department of education for women and child welfare health and rural development to coordinate well for the third phase of the program and said that in any act of crime against women immediate action must be taken with all sensitivity towards the victim.
