Update on land for job scams

Tejashwi Yadav reached the CBI office for questioning.

The central bureau of investigation (CBI) asked the Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav to present himself in their office for questioning in the land for job scam case.

On 25 March 2023, the Bihar CM, Tejashwi Yadav, left for the CBI office, and before leaving his residence, he stated that they were just cooperating with the investigation team for the case.  He further added that it is easier to bow down than fight for your rights.

The CBI filed a charge sheet that stated about the irregular appointments of candidates in the central railway by violating the norms and regulations of the recruitment. The candidate directly or indirectly sold their land to the relatives or the family members of the union railway minister, Lalu Prasad Yadav, at highly discounted rates, up to 1/4th to 1/5th of the prevailing marketing price.

Maximum land was transferred in the names of his wife Rabri Devi and Misha Bharti for sale consideration from the candidates or their family members.
