Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday promised up to 300 units of free electricity per month to every household, waiving the old bills and free electricity to farmers in the poll-bound Uttarakhand, if AAP is voted to power. Mr. Kejriwal cited the party's performance in Delhi and told the voters if the party comes to power in the state, it will definitely fulfill the promises. He said that if it can be done in Delhi, it can be done in Uttarakhand as well, "which not only produces electricity but also gives it to other states,” Mr. Kejriwal said at a press conference in Dehradun. Recently, AAP leader had promised upto 300 units of free power to every family in Punjab as well, if the party is voted to power in the state. Mr Kejriwal also said that if an AAP government is formed in the state, no taxes will be increased for five years.
