Varun Dhawan Is All Set To Shoot Four Back To Back Films From November

Varun Dhavan is all in its zone to shoot four back-to-back films starting from mid-November with a comedy film also featuring Anil Kapoor and Neetu Singh

After a fast family trip to Goa, including his steady date Natasha Dalal, the actor air dashed to the Maldives for an additional vacation. But Mirror has learned that the vacation is more just like the calm before the storm because the actor has four back-to-back shoots, with films belonging to different genres, lined up.

“The title of the film is Jug Jug Jiyo with a fresh story that revolves around the lives of two couples from different generations, played by Varun and Kiara, Anil, and Neetu. The comedy-drama film is going to revolve around one North Indian family that promises to be a riot, with the older couple’s strained relationship bringing many laughs''. The film is going to be shot during a marathon schedule, in real locations in Chandigarh, followed by a quick stint in Mumbai also as abroad, as Varun’s character is an NRI. Another A-lister is predicted to hitch the gang soon.

After completing the shoot of Jug Jug Jiyo, Varun will begin 2021 with Stree director Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy, titled Bhediya. Buzz is, Shraddha Kapoor is his actress.

While reports suggest that Shah Rukh Khan’s next with South filmmaker Atlee has been titled Sanki, the source confirms that it's Sajid Nadiadwala who has the title registered under his name and is ready to form the film with Varun within the titular role.

Following a hat-trick of films with comic elements, Varun gets into the extreme space with Sriram Raghavan’s Arun Kheterpal biopic. “Ekkis could even be a period war film which needs multiple people on the set, with real action scenes set against tanks, crowds, and guns. They don’t want to risk by shooting a movie of that scale within the middle of a pandemic and hence, Varun has decided to urge a line up in the site which will be barren of big crowd scenes,” the source signed off.

The film was scheduled to travel on the floors in May 2021.
