Mumbai: Veteran actress Seema Deo passed away on Thursday morning as a result of age-related diseases, according to her filmmaker son Abhinay Deo.

 

She is well known for her appearances in Anand and Kora Kagaz. The woman was 81 years old.

 

The actor, who appeared in more than 80 Hindi and Marathi movies, died in her Bandra home. She had been dealing with Alzheimer's for more than three years.

 

"She died of old age at her Bandra home between 8:30 and 9:00 am.

She had become wholly reclusive, and soon it was just old age. With Alzheimer's, you stop being able to function normally.

 

She had dementia that progressed to Alzheimer's disease and had been afflicted for more than three years.

 

There was no apparent cause for her passing. Alzheimer's and dementia cause the person to lose their ability to walk. The organs begin to shut down one by one as muscle memory begins to deteriorate, according to Abhinay Deo, speaking to PTI.

 

At Shivaji Park, the final rituals will be conducted at 5:00 p.m.
