Six dengue patients died on Friday, bringing the total number of dengue deaths in West Bengal this year to over 30, according to officials.

 

While receiving treatment at a private hospital in Kolkata, two patients passed away. The two of them claimed to be from Bagha Jatin and Salt Lake, respectively.

 

They stated that two people died in the Pachim Medinipur neighborhood of Ghatal, while two more died in adjacent Kharagpur.

 

After receiving the results from the National Institute of Virology (NIV), where his sample was sent, a Health Department official reported that a migrant worker who had returned from Kerala with symptoms like Nipah had tested negative.

 

With a high fever, nausea, and a throat infection, the man is receiving treatment at the Beliaghata ID Hospital, according to him
