Karnataka primary and secondary education minister, BC Nagesh said, the government will not backtrack from stopping exams and schools If a situation arises. 

As per the information the government said will close the school if needed. The cases of Covid-19 are on peak. The fear of getting infected is again the same as during the second wave. Whereas schools and colleges are reopened after years and omicron, a new variant is again creating concern among the population.


According to the statement, the minister said to the reporters, "if required will stop exams. However, the standard operating procedure is maintained very strictly in the exams because we make sitting arrangements maintaining a physical distance."   Adding more he said, the government was closely monitoring the Covid situation on an hourly basis. Also, the government will make alternative arrangements to avoid any problem." Said the minister.


India witnessed 21 new Variant Omicron cases. Which has created havoc among the people. This statement came amid rising cases of Covid-19 emerging among students. A large number of students and staff of a medical College in Hubballi Dharwad tested positive for Covid-19.


Also, the minister assured the people and said," there is no need to panic because this year we started regular schools after a year of lockdown. In case schools are shut again. It will be difficult to bring back children to the classes."
