Will Make Uttarakhand International Spiritual Capital For Hindus: Arvind Kejriwal

Kejriwal made this statement during his visit To Haridwar

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal paid his visit to Uttarakhand's Haridwar to campaign for his party ahead of Uttarakhand assembly elections.

On Monday, Arvind Kejriwal promised to make the poll-bound hill state of Uttarakhand the international spiritual capital for Hindus. According to the statement he said, He said, "We will make Uttarakhand an international spiritual capital for Hindus. This will enhance tourism extensively, we hope that it will provide employment to thousands of youth here."

While Kejriwal is in Haridwar to campaign for his party, the ruling BJP, on the other hand, is hoping that the "Modi factor" which is credited for the party's big win in the 2017 Uttarakhand assembly elections, will help it register a repeat performance in the polls just days away.

He further said, "An honest government can be formed in the state for the first time through which corruption can be eliminated."

He said that his party will provide 24-hour electricity to the state just like they did in Delhi. He also added that only his party knows how to provide employment to the people. AAP made it happen in Delhi and will make it happen in Uttarakhand as well without any kind of corruption.

The Uttarakhand election is scheduled to be held on February 14. The results will be announced on March 10. The other Four states including Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, Goa, and Punjab are also gearing up ahead of the assembly elections.
